My full name is Delilah Summer Rayne. If you're wondering, as most people do, is that her real name? Yes, yes it is. It's on my birth certificate and everything! My parents probably knew I was going to be a creative type so they gave me a snazzy, artsy name. Thanks Mom and Dad! I am a passionate female photographer specializing in weddings, boudoir and portraits. I grew up in a small town on Vancouver Island surrounded by the vast, beautiful nature and have always taken inspiration from that. I decided to head to Montreal to study photography which was an amazing experience but the West Coast lured me back. I now reside in Vancouver but travel back to the island a lot to work, visit friends and family, play, and is where I will always consider home. For me photography is about connecting with people and capturing them in a way that they have never seen themselves. Seeing people's genuine reactions (like "oh ma gaaaawwdd, that's me?!") is one of my favourite things and I feel so grateful that I can call this my career. Whether you're marrying the love of your life, celebrating your body or just wanting to capture some memories, your story is very important to me. I love being a little bit weird, creating beautiful stuff and making cool friends.

That's me and my man doing one of our favourite activities: playing crib! Our other go-to games are crazy 8s and golf. We used to keep track of who won each game but we play too often to keep up with it.... We've been together for over 14 years
and I feel so lucky to have such
