Victoria Wedding Photography at Kildara Farms

Caryn & Gus held their wedding in May 2016 at one of my favourite venues on Vancouver Island, Kildara Farms. There is a beautiful barn that was transformed into a reception space and is filled with rustic and romantic charm. Above the reception area is a loft that is used as a bridal suite and has so many adorable, lovely details. The venue is surrounded by beautiful lush nature and has an ocean view, which makes it the perfect place for a small and intimate wedding. Elephant Flowers offered beautiful spring inspired blooms and created one of the most unique bouquets I’ve seen to date that featured dusty lavender roses and succulents.

Since Gus is from Brazil, a lot of his family had to travel far to be part of their special day. Caryn learned a bit of Portuguese for her thank you speech which was so sweet and touching. This couple is so down to earth and genuinely into each other it was adorable, therefore making them so easy to work with. Talk about ideal clients! It’s been almost a year since I photographed this wedding and it’s still one of my favourites to date.
