Vancouver Elopement Photography on Mount Baker Highway, WA

Oh, the Pacific Northwest, I’ll never get over you and your magic. I had this session in my mind for quite a while and of course I wanted it to include a dress from my talented friend Trista of Reclamation because they are to DIE FOR! I mean.. look at that dress.. (I secretly want something similar for my own wedding, but don’t tell my boyfriend that I’ve been thinking about wedding dresses… hehe). I have also been wanting to collaborate with the amazing Amanda from Green Leaf Floral Design for quite some time and this was the perfect opportunity. She has such a unique and wild/organic style that I feel goes perfectly with the PNW vibes. These incredible artists’ links can be found at the bottom of the blog post.

I first noticed Grace on Instagram and knew that I had to shoot with her. I creeped her profile and saw she had a boyfriend, Joe, and decided on a whim to ask if they were down to do a couple’s session! They have some amazing chemistry and were down for basically anything I told them to do, even if it felt a bit awkward at first (I’m assuming the part where I made them run down a random road while looking at each other laughing uncontrollably was a little bit weird..). I’m so happy they said yes because I just am so in love with the whole shoot and can’t thank them enough.

If you’re thinking of eloping in the Pacific Northwest (or anywhere in the world, really..) I would love to tag along and document it (and also make you do questionable things in the name of art!)
